Configure color palettes
Set up color names, color prices, reusable color lists, and color picker presets for the product customizer.
The Colors page in your WordPress admin lets you configure color names, pricing, reusable color lists, and color picker presets. These settings apply globally β they affect every product that uses colors in the product customizer.
For per-element and per-product color settings, see Colorization methods and setup.
Before you start
- You have access to your WordPress admin.
- You know which hex color codes you want to offer. Have them ready (for example, #FF0000 for red, #001F3F for navy).
The Colors page
Go to Chamevo > Colors in your WordPress admin. The page has four tabs:
- Color Names β assign friendly names to hex values
- Color Prices β charge extra for specific colors
- Color Lists β create reusable named palettes
- Color General β set color picker preset swatches
Steps
Assign color names
Color names replace raw hex codes with readable labels in the product customizer. Customers see "Navy Blue" instead of "#001F3F."
- Go to Chamevo > Colors.
- Open the Color Names tab.
- Enter a hex color code in the HEX-Color field (for example,
001F3F). - Enter a name in the Name field (for example, "Navy Blue").
- Add more color names as needed.
- Click Save Changes.

Set up color pricing
Charge different prices for different color choices. This works with color palettes only β not with the free color picker.
- Open the Color Prices tab.
- Enable Enable Text Color Pricing to charge for text color changes.
- Enable Enable Image Color Pricing to charge for image color changes.
- In the Color Prices section, enter a hex color code and its price.
- Add more color-price pairs as needed.
- Click Save Changes.
When a customer selects a color that has a price, the amount adds to the product total through .
