Installing & Updating Chamevo

1. Purchase & Download

Available exclusively via the Customer Portal (no longer on CodeCanyon).
After purchase, download the plugin anytime from your account.

2. Install

Upload the plugin via your WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload.
Activate the plugin.

3. Activate

Enter your license key in the WordPress admin panel.
Once activated, updates are delivered automatically in your dashboard.

Build Your Customizable Product

Chamevo Products are the customizable items you create using the Product Builder. They function like any other WooCommerce product but offer much greater flexibility.

Each Chamevo Product can have multiple views (e.g. front and back of a t-shirt).
Products can include options such as color, size, or design variations.

Creating a New Product

Click New to add a new product.
Enter a product title in the popup window.
The new product will now appear in the product list.
(Optional) Assign a thumbnail by clicking the empty image box next to the title.
(Optional) Assign the product to a category:

Click Manage Categories.
If no category exists, click Add New Category and enter a title.
Select your product in the list.

| Each Chamevo Product can be assigned to multiple categories.

Categories also include icons for:

Editing the title
Filtering products by category
Deleting the category

Adding Views to a Product

Every product must have at least one view, representing an angle or variation (e.g. front/back of a shirt).

Click the Add View (+) icon to add a new view.

Print Areas

Print Areas define the regions of a product where your customers can place designs. Use them for multi-sided products (front/back cards, packaging, brochures) or for products with custom shapes (stickers, labels).

Key features:

Add multiple print areas per view (front, back, sides, etc.).
See the active area with a checkmark icon.
Zoom in/out for precision editing.
Use SVG masks for custom shapes.
Automatic bleed, crop marks, and correct sizing.
Elements stay inside their area with boundary controls.

Go to Chamevo → Products
Click on Layers Icon to expand views
Select Edit In Product builder

Example: Creating a T-Shirt with 2 Print Areas (Logo And Body)

Step 1. Open Print Areas Menu

In the Admin Dashboard, click on Products from the left-hand menu.
Click on the Layers icon for the T-shirt product.
Select Edit in Product Builder.

Step 2. Open the Print Areas Menu and Add Print Areas

On the right-hand side, click the Print Areas button to open the print area menu.
Name your Print Area.
On the front of the T-shirt, create two print areas by naming the Print Areas, Choosing Size and Bleed.

Adding Shortcodes

Create a new post/page or select an existing one.
Insert the following shortcodes:

[chamevo] → Loads the product designer.

[chamevo_form] → Adds the form required to send the customized product to the site owner.

Chamevo Meta Box

A Chamevo meta box will appear on the right-hand side of the editor.
If it doesn’t appear, click the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.
From the meta box you can:
Add single Chamevo Products, or Add product categories via the Source Type option.
Select products or categories from the dropdown.
For mobile optimization, you can assign different products for smaller screens.

Publishing & Preview

Once you’ve finished configuration:

Click Publish
Preview the page/post to see the designer in action.
