We produce laser-engraved personalized items using WooCommerce variable products (e.g., "Biothane Dog Tag" with variations for size and hole/loop options). The Problem: Customers create a design for a specific variation (e.g., 30 mm size without a loop). If they subsequently change the product variation on the product page after leaving the designer (e.g., to 24 mm with a loop), the initial design is retained. Because the proportions, text size, and spacing no longer fit the new engraving area, the design cannot be engraved properly. Requested Feature: We need an option that forces a redesign whenever a customer modifies the product variations after using the designer. Specifically, if a variation is changed on the product page: - The previous design should automatically reset, and/or - The customer must be required to open and complete the designer again for the newly selected variation.
