Understanding AI Credits
AI Credits are used to power Chamevo's AI-powered features including background removal, image upscaling, and AI-generated images.
What Are AI Credits?
AI Credits are consumed when customers or store owners use AI-powered features in Chamevo:
- Remove Background - Automatically removes backgrounds from images (5 credit per use)
- Upscale Image - Enhances image quality and resolution (2 credit per use)
- Text to Images - Generates AI images from text prompts (2 credits per use, as it creates 2 images)
Each plan includes a monthly AI Credits allocation. You can purchase additional credits if needed.
Purchasing AI Credits
When you need more AI Credits:
- Log in to your Chamevo customer portal at https://cp.chamevo.com/account/licenses
- Navigate to My Licenses
- Click the Buy AI Credits button
- You'll be taken to the checkout page to purchase additional credits
- Complete your purchase
- Credits will be added to your account immediately
Checking Your AI Credits Usage
To view your current AI Credits usage:
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Chamevo > Dashboard
- Your AI Credits Usage will be displayed (e.g., 6 / 500)
- This shows credits used out of your total allocation
What Happens When You Run Out of Credits?
When your AI Credits are depleted:
- AI features will be disabled until you purchase more credits
- Your existing designs and products remain unaffected
- Regular (non-AI) features continue to work normally
