Setup for engraved products

This guide explains how to enable and configure Engraving Mode for your products. Engraving Mode adjusts how images and text are displayed to simulate engraving effects.


1.Enable Engraving Mode


  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to **Chamevo → Print Profiles  **
  2. Select Print Profile you wish to edit
  3. Open General settings
  4. Override Industry Mode
  5. Select **Engraving **
  6. Save Changes!





2.As soon as you select Engraving, two configuration options will appear:


  • Engraving Opacity — set the opacity value applied to customer-added text and images.
  • Engraving Negative Image — enable this to invert the threshold output (useful for dark backgrounds so images appear in white pixels).






Note the automatic changes that happen when Engraving is enabled:


  • Opacity, Advanced Image Editing, and Remove Background tools are hidden from the customer editor.
  • Customer-uploaded images are automatically converted to a Threshold image (or Threshold Negative if you enabled the negative option).
  • Any custom text/images will render using the Engraving Opacity you set.







Engraving Mode is active for that print profile: uploads are converted to engraving-friendly output, editing controls are simplified, and opacity/negative behavior follows your configured options.
