Let Vendors Sell Customizable Products with Dokan plugin

Chamevo WordPress/WooCommerce plugin, you can use Dokan to let your vendors sell customizable products created with Chamevo.

Prerequisites

Before enabling vendor access to Chamevo, you need to configure two important WooCommerce settings:

Disable HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)

HPOS needs to be turned off for Chamevo to work properly with Dokan.

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings
2. Click on Advanced Menu
3. Open Features Tab
4. Uncheck the "Enable High-Performance Order Storage" option

1. Enable Vendor Admin Access

For vendors to use Chamevo, they need access to the WordPress backend. In Dokan, this is controlled by the "Admin area access" setting.

1. Go to Dokan → Settings → General
2. Turn off this toggle (uncheck the option)

2. Configure Chamevo Settings for Dokan

1. Go to → Chamevo Settings
2. Open WooCommerce Menu
3. Click on Dokan Tab
4. Here you can configure:

• Admin Access: Enable this toggle to give vendors access to the Chamevo admin (Products, Product Builder) so they can create their own products.
• FPD Products From User: Select a user whose Chamevo products can be used by all vendors for their own products. This allows you to provide a predefined set of products instead of requiring vendors to create new ones from scratch.

5. Save Changes!

3. Vendor Order Management

When a vendor receives an order with customized products:

1. The vendor opens the order from their Orders section
2. They click "View Customized Product"

1. They're redirected to the WooCommerce Order Details page in the backend
2. Here they can view all the customer's customizations

Quick Setup Checklist:

✅ HPOS must be disabled

✅ Dokan "Admin area access" toggle must be turned off

✅ Chamevo Admin Access toggle must be enabled (if you want vendors to create products)

✅ FPD Products From User configured (if you want to provide predefined products)
