Let customers download a print-ready file after successful purchase
WooCommerce makes it easy to sell digital products and deliver them to your customers automatically after purchase. By setting up a product as downloadable, customers will receive their file(s) directly after their order is completed.
Step 1: Create a Downloadable Product
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard WooCommerce→ Products → Add New.
- In the Product Data panel, check Downloadable.
- Upload the file(s) you want customers to receive after purchase.
- You can add multiple files if needed.
- Set a download limit and expiration if required.
- Add Chamevo Product
- **Publish **or **Save Changes **

Step 2: Complete the Order
Once the customer places an order and payment is confirmed:
- A Download button will appear in the order confirmation email.
- Customers will also see their download links in their My Account → Orders page.
Step 3: Accessing Downloads
- Backend (Admin View): You can view and manage download permissions in the order details screen inside WooCommerce.
- Customer Account (Frontend): Customers will see a clear Download button next to their purchased product.
Step 4: Delivering Print-Ready Files from Chamevo (Optional)
If you’re selling customized products with Chamevo, you can integrate the Export feature to deliver the exact print-ready design the customer created.
- Go to Chamevo → Settings → Export.
- Choose the output file format (PDF, PNG, JPEG, archive with fonts/images).
- Under File Receiving, select one of the WooCommerce delivery options:
- Download Link in Email → automatically included in WooCommerce order emails.
- Customer Login Required → customers download via their account page.
- Email Attachment → file sent directly as attachment.
- Save changes.
