Using Pricing Rules for Advanced Pricing
For more complex pricing beyond simple price per CM², you can use Pricing Rules with the Canvas Size condition. See the Pricing Rules Setup article for detailed instructions on creating advanced pricing based on dimensions.
Best Practices
- Set realistic minimums that meet your production quality standards
- Set maximums based on your actual printing/production capabilities
- Offer predefined formats for popular sizes to make selection easier for customers
- Test pricing calculations with various dimensions to ensure profitability
- Use Override only when necessary to keep profiles manageable
Troubleshooting
Dynamic Views not appearing for customers? Ensure the print profile with Dynamic Views enabled is assigned to your product.
Pricing not calculating correctly?
- Verify your Price Per CM² value is correct
- Check that units are consistent across your settings
- Review any Pricing Rules that might be affecting the calculation
Customers can't select certain sizes? Check your minimum and maximum dimension settings to ensure they allow the desired range.
