How to Set Default Colors and Color Options in Print Profiles
Print Profiles allow you to define color options for images and text elements in your product customizer. You can set fill colors, stroke colors, default colors, and patterns.
Accessing Print Profile Colors
- From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Chamevo Click on Print Profiles
- Select your print profile (e.g., Master Profile)
- Click on the Colors tab in the left sidebar
- Choose the color section you want to configure

Understanding Color Sections
There are four color tabs available:
- Custom Images Colors - Color options for specific custom graphics
- All Images Colors - Color options that apply to all graphics
- Custom Texts Colors - Color options for specific text elements
- All Texts Colors - Color options that apply to all text elements

Setting Fill Colors
Fill Colors define the color options available for your graphics or text.
- Locate the Fill Colors section
- Enter hex color values (e.g.,
#000000) in the color fields - Click the + button to add more color options and enable color wheel.
- Leave fields blank to not have colors.
- Click Save Changes at the top right

Setting Default Fill Color
Default Fill Color sets the initial color for custom elements.
- Navigate to the appropriate color tab
- Find the Default Fill Color section
- Enter a hex color value (e.g.,
#000000) - This color will be applied by default to custom added elements
- Click Save Changes

Additional Color Options
Stroke Colors (Text Only)
- Available in the All Texts Colors tab
- Define outline color options for text elements
- Enter hex values or leave blank for color wheel access|
Color Link Groups
- Synchronizes colors across text elements that share the same color link group
- Configure in your product design settings to link elements together
Patterns
- For Images: Upload patterns to
/wp-content/uploads/chamevo/patterns_svgand select from dropdown in All Images Colors tab - For Text: Upload patterns to
/wp-content/uploads/patterns_textand select from dropdown in All Texts Colors tab
Best Practices
- Define consistent colors across all sections for a cohesive design experience
- Use hex values for precise color control
- Leave some options blank to allow customers full color wheel access
- Set appropriate defaults to guide customers toward your brand colors
- Test your configurations by creating a test product
Troubleshooting
Colors not appearing for customers? Make sure you've clicked Save Changes after entering your color values.
Pattern options not showing? Verify that pattern files are uploaded to the correct folder path.
Default color not working? Default Fill Color only works for SVG/PNG images and custom added text elements.
