Giving Access to Other Roles

By default, only the Administrator can access the backend of FPD in WordPress.

FPD comes with its own capability:

edit_fancy_product_designer

You can grant this capability to other user roles using any Role Manager plugin. Once assigned, users with that role will be able to access and manage FPD features in the backend.

Step-by-Step Example Using a Role Manager Plugin

  1. Install and activate a Role Manager plugin (use any in this list)
  2. Go to the plugin settings and select the user role you want to modify.
  3. Find and enable the capability: edit_fancy_product_designer.
  4. Save the changes.

Now, users with that role can access FPD in the WordPress backend. After assigning this capability, any user with the selected role will have full access to manage FPD products and settings. Be careful when giving access to roles with multiple users, as it allows editing of product designs and templates.
