Facebook, Instagram & Pixabay Integration
The new app allows your customers to select images directly from Facebook, Instagram, or Pixabay within the product designer. All settings are now handled directly in the Photos settings page.
Step 1: Access the Photos Settings
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to: Chamevo → Settings → Features → Photos
- Click Photos to access all image source options.
- Save Changes

Step 2: Facebook Integration
- App ID: Enter your Facebook App ID to enable Facebook photo integration.
- Once added, users can select images from their Facebook albums.
Step 3: Instagram Integration
- App ID: Enter your Instagram App ID.
- App Secret: Enter the secret key of your Instagram app.
- Redirect URI: Use this exact URI when setting up your Instagram app:

- After entering these values in Photos settings, users can select images from their Instagram uploads.
Step 4: Pixabay Integration
4.1 Retrieve an API Key
- Go to the [Pixabay API documentation]().
- Log in to your Pixabay account or create a new account.
- Your API key will be displayed under the “key” parameter.
4.2 Access High-Resolution Photos
- To use high-res images (larger than ~640×540 px), request permission:
- Visit the high-res permission page in the Pixabay API docs.
- Click “requires permission” next to the headline.
- A modal will appear. Complete all checkboxes and provide a short explanation of your use case, for example:
“I am selling business cards and want to give my customers the possibility to access photos from Pixabay.”
- Wait 24–48 hours for confirmation via email.
4.3 Enter the API Key in Your Plugin
WordPress:
- Go to Chamevo → Settings → Features → Photos.
- Enter your Pixabay API key.
- If you have high-res permission, enable “Pixabay High-Res Images”.
- Set your API key in the plugin options.
4.4 Additional Pixabay Options|
- Language: Select the language for Pixabay image searches (e.g., English).
- Users can now search and select images directly from the Pixabay library inside the product designer.
Summary
With these settings configured in Photos, your customers can easily access images from Facebook, Instagram, or Pixabay without any coding, server scripts, or App Review steps.
Combine these external image sources with the Upload Module settings (auto-fill zones, fit images to canvas) for the smoothest image upload and selection experience
