Exporting an order as print-ready file

The Export Module allows you to generate and deliver print-ready files from your customers’ designs. You can export in PDF, PNG, or JPEG formats, configure DPI for professional print, and deliver files via email, direct download, webhook, or cloud storage.

You can also integrate directly with Printful for automated order fulfillment.

For professional print workflows, always set the output to PDF with 300 DPI and combine it with cloud storage or webhook delivery for maximum automation.

Exports are subject to the limits of your chosen pricing plan. Please check your subscription details for available order volumes and features.

Preparing for Proper Print Exports

Before configuring the export options, make sure the following is set up correctly:

You can check article about proper Print Setup for export here.

Step 1: Access Export Settings

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard. Navigate to: Chamevo → Settings
  2. **Open Export Menu **
  3. Configure the options based on how you want to deliver files and Save Changes.

Step 2: General Export Options

Output File: Select the format of the file to be delivered:

  • PDF – print-ready file (recommended for production)
  • JPEG – raster export, adjustable DPI
  • PNG – raster export, adjustable DPI
  • Archive with PDF and Fonts Used – includes the PDF and all fonts embedded in the design
  • Archive with PDF and Custom Images – includes the PDF and all uploaded/used images

Image DPI:

  • Define resolution for PNG/JPEG exports (default: 300 DPI).

File Receiving Methods:

  • Download Link in E-Mail (Recommended): Adds a download link to the order confirmation email.
  • Download Link (Login Required): Customers must log in to access downloads.
  • Print-Ready File via Download Action: Customers can download directly inside the product designer. ⚠️ Counts as an order and affects billing usage.
  • E-Mail Attachment: Sends the print file attached to the order email. Suitable for smaller files—test with typical order volume.
  • Webhook URL: Enter a webhook endpoint to receive a JSON payload (file URL + metadata). Useful for integrations (Zapier, cloud storage, etc.).
  • Cloud Storage: Automatically store files in:
    • None (default)
    • Dropbox
    • AWS S3

E-Mail Recipients:

  • Administrator: Sends the print file to the admin when a new order is received.
  • Customer (WooCommerce only): Sends the file to the customer once the order is marked paid or completed.

Use Webhook + Cloud Storage if you want to automate file handling outside of WordPress.
