Enabling Advanced Editing

This guide explains how to enable advanced editing features, allowing customers to apply image filters, adjust settings, and use background removal on their uploaded images.




  1. Go to Chamevo → Print Profiles

In the dashboard, open Chamevo > Print Profiles.


  1. Edit a Profile

Choose the print profile you want to modify and click Edit Profile.


  1. Go to File Uploads

Open the File Uploads tab.


  1. Open Transformations

Inside File Uploads, click on Transformations.


  1. Enable Advanced Editing


Toggle Advanced Editing ON.


  • This feature allows end-users to access advanced bitmap editing tools such as filters and background removal.
  • You can apply it as Master (global default) or Override (specific to this profile).


  1. Save Changes



Customers can manually adjust their uploaded images with advanced filters and editing tools.



Comparison with Applied Image Filters


  • Applied Image Filter (Product Setting): Automatically applies a predefined filter (e.g., Grayscale) to every uploaded image.
  • Advanced Editing (Print Profile): Gives customers editing tools (filters, background removal) to customize images themselves.



Use Applied Image Filters when you want consistency (e.g., all uploads must be grayscale).Use Advanced Editing when you want customers to have control over image adjustments.
