Color Configuration

Chamevo allows you to manage your color options for the frontend store. This makes it easier to display user-friendly color names instead of technical HEX codes, improving the shopping experience for your customers.

Step 1: Open Color Manager & Add Color Names

  1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Chamevo → Colors.
  2. The Color Manager will open, showing different tabs: Color Names, Color Prices, Color Lists, and Color General.

To add a new color name:

  1. Enter the HEX-Color value (e.g., #ff0000 for red).
  2. Assign a Name (e.g., "Bright Red").
  3. Click Add
  4. Save Changes
  5. The color will appear in the list below!

Step 2:Color Prices

Color Prices

In the Color Prices tab, you can set additional costs for specific colors in your palette.

  • Enable for Texts – Apply pricing when users select text colors.
  • Enable for Images – Apply pricing when users select image colors.

To add a color price:

  • Enter a HEX-Color (e.g., #ff0000).
  • Set a Price for that color.
  • Click Add and then Save Changes.

When customers choose a priced color from the palette, the extra cost will automatically be added to the product. (This only works with color palettes, not the free color picker.)

Color Lists

In the Color Lists tab, you can create organized color palettes that users can select from.

  • Each Color List can contain multiple colors.
  • Lists can be given custom names for easier identification.
  • Created lists can be assigned to elements in the admin dashboard.

To add a new list:

  1. Click Add New List.
  2. Enter a name for your list.
  3. Add colors to build the palette.
  4. Save your changes.

Color General

Color Picker Swatches

In the Color Picker Swatches tab, you can define suggested colors that appear directly in the color picker interface.

  • Enter hexadecimal color codes separated by commas to create quick color options for users.
  • These swatches make it easier for users to pick colors without manually entering codes.
  • Swatches can be updated at any time to reflect new design needs.

To add swatches:

  1. Click the field to enter color codes.
  2. Type each hexadecimal code separated by commas (e.g., #000000,#FFFFFF,#FF0000).
  3. Save your changes to make the swatches available in the color picker.
