Adding patterns for text & SVG
Patterns allow you to add textures or repeating images to text and SVG elements inside the product designer. This feature is great for creating stylish effects such as fabric textures, gradients, or decorative fills.
Step 1: Upload Your Pattern Files
- Open your FTP software (e.g., FileZilla).
- Navigate to your WordPress installation folder: wp-content/uploads
For Text Elements
- Create a new folder: fpd_patterns_text
- Upload your pattern images as PNG or JPEG files into this folder.
For SVG Images
- Create a new folder: fpd_patterns_svg
- Upload your pattern images as PNG or JPEG files into this folder.
Step 2: Configure Patterns in Settings
- Go to Chamevo → Print Profile.
- Edit Master Profile
- Select **Color Option **
All Images Colors
Here you can define global color options that apply to all image elements:
- Fill Colors
Define fill color options for text or SVG fills. You can use hex values (e.g., #000000) or leave the field blank to allow the color wheel.
- Color Link Group
Synchronize colors across different elements that share the same link group. Changing one updates all linked elements.
- Patterns
Select your uploaded patterns (PNG/JPEG) from: wp-content/uploads/fpd_patterns_svg
These can be applied to image or SVG elements.
Custom Texts Colors
Here you define options specific to custom text elements added by customers:
- Fill Colors
Define the available fill color options. Use hex values or leave blank to enable the color wheel.
- Default Color
Set the default color for newly added text elements. Example: #000000.
- Color Link Group
Synchronize colors across custom text elements that share the same group.
